I had the privilege of seeing the Liberty Bell 7 today, it was flown by Gus Grissom on July 21, 1961! It was lost at sea upon landing in the Atlantic due to complications with the hatch. It was recovered on July 20, 1999 during a deep sea excursion! [3024x4032]
